Symbol correspondences for spin systems
The present monograph explores the correspondence between quantum and
classical mechanics in the particular context of spin systems, that is,
SU(2)-symmetric mechanical systems. Here, a detailed presentation of quantum
spin-j systems, with emphasis on the SO(3)-invariant decomposition of their
operator algebras, is followed by an introduction to the Poisson algebra of the
classical spin system and a similarly detailed presentation of its
SO(3)-invariant decomposition. Subsequently, this monograph proceeds with a
detailed and systematic study of general quantum-classical symbol
correspondences for spin-j systems and their induced twisted products of
functions on the 2-sphere. This original systematic presentation culminates
with the study of twisted products in the asymptotic limit of high spin
numbers. In the context of spin systems, it shows how classical mechanics may
or may not emerge as an asymptotic limit of quantum mechanics.Comment: Research Monograph, 171 pages (book format, preliminary version

Documentary Reviewing Reviewed: A Survey of the Book Review Policies of Selected Historical Journals
Book reviews in many ways are more important for the documentary publication than the monograph. In the latter case the book is published, reviewed, and in a sense forgotten. Multiple volume documentary editions, published over a long period, should receive and, indeed, require constant review, each new volume being compared with the preceding ones. The importance of reviews is no less for smaller selective editions of only a few volumes or on microforms. For the documentary edition, much more a reference book than the monograph, reviews should inform potential users of its utility and help to maintain quality
Monograf Sebagai Salah Satu Cara Publikasi Buku Dari Hasil Penelitian
The meaning of monograph is writing on a single subject. The monograph book form is published in one volume or one series. A monograph issue is not a complete issue in several volumes. More precisely not a radiant issue. The monograph book is a straightforward and concise form of writing a research paper with details on a particular subject. Writing a monograph is based on a literature survey, meaning it is the extraction and compilation of relevant information on a single specialized topic. A monograph book is a work of research written by an expert or a specialist in its field and contains one topic or some related subjects. The monograph is provided as a literature reference and can be used to hold learning material. The lecturer and librarian have the opportunity to create a monograph book from research done. Research articles published in journals can be converted into monograph category books so that they are substantially more valuable, have greater material density, and have greater dissemination opportunities
The development of elliptic functions according to Ramanujan and Venkatachaliengar
These notes are based on the monograph Development of Elliptic Functions according to Ramanujan
by K. Venkatachaliengar [2]. The goal of the notes is to show how some of the main
properties of Jacobian and Weierstrass elliptic functions can be developed in an elementary way
from the 1Ã1 function.
All of the ideas presented in these notes can be found in Venkatachaliengar's book. The only
thing I have done is to rearrange the order in which the material is presented. I am entirely responsible
for any errors in these notes, and would be very grateful to be informed about them,
whether they be large or small

USSR Space Life Sciences Digest, issue 21
This is the twenty-first issue of NASA's USSR Space Life Sciences Digest. It contains abstracts of 37 papers published in Russian language periodicals or books or presented at conferences and of a Soviet monograph on animal ontogeny in weightlessness. Selected abstracts are illustrated with figures and tables from the original. A book review of a work on adaptation to stress is also included. The abstracts in this issue have been identified as relevant to 25 areas of space biology and medicine. These areas are: adaptation, biological rhythms, body fluids, botany, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, cytology, developmental biology, endocrinology, enzymology, equipment and instrumentation, exobiology, gravitational biology, habitability and environmental effects, hematology, human performance, life support systems, mathematical modeling, metabolism, microbiology, musculoskeletal system, neurophysiology, operational medicine, perception, psychology, and reproductive system
